Map only loads 1/4 after launch

Some users are experiencing an issue with the app only showing the top quarter of the map after opening. 

Here's the fix to the solution: Wait a few seconds, then close the app. Then force close the app using the app viewer. (swiping up) Open the app and stay on the map screen until it fully loads. Keep repeating until the map works.

This is why: Since the app is a web-mobile application, it needs to cache the map on your device. The app won't load the entire map if you navigate away too quickly. The key here is to be patient.
