How to Track a Trip

To get tracking, navigate to the Map tab. Here you will see the map; on it, your current location is represented by the Offroadin' logo. Tracking a trip from there is easy: 

• Click on the Checkmark located at the bottom right of your screen
• A dialog will appear with the Track a Trip header and some directions below
• Use the drop-down box below the instructions to select your vehicle
• Click "Start Tracking"

Upon activating the tracking feature, the dialog will seamlessly vanish, and your location will transition from our logo to a dot. This dot effectively signifies your approximate location. Select the Location Arrow above the preceding checkmark, and the map will promptly zoom in on your present whereabouts, moving in tandem with your movements. Should you wish to explore the vicinity manually, feel free to uncheck the Location Arrow and utilize your finger for navigation.

You will find a bar at the top of your screen displaying your current speed, altitude, and heading. This information serves as a visual aid to assist you in understanding your location and providing guidance to others or yourself.

During your initial experience with the app, you will discover various additional features that have been integrated. Please feel free to explore and test these features at your convenience. Throughout this guide, we will provide comprehensive coverage of all the features. However, for this tutorial, our focus will be primarily on the fundamental process of tracking your first trip.

Currently, It is required to keep the Offroadin' app open during exploration and tracking.

Once you have completed tracking your initial trip, please access the Offroadin' App and locate the X icon at the bottom right corner of your screen. This X icon previously served as the checkmark for initiating your trip. However, its functionality will now adapt to your current tracking status, providing you with alternative actions.

After completing your trip, we will diligently work to generate a comprehensive report of your journey within seconds. Once this process is complete, your trip report will be readily available for review.
